Why not simply upload the document to a generalist LLM?
A generalist LLM can summarise a document and answer many questions. But fund work depends on details: the exact fee of the right share class, a table split across pages, a footnote that changes a limit. FundLens is built around fund-specific data models, extracts values in a consistent format and links every figure to its source, so results can be checked and reused.
Does FundLens replace the four-eyes principle?
No. It automates the first pair of eyes. FundLens does the reading, extraction and standardisation; your experts review, decide and remain accountable. Because every value links to its source, their review takes seconds instead of hours.
How accurate is FundLens?
FundLens is designed for high precision, and every value can be checked at its source in one click. We will publish benchmarks on real Swiss fund documents once our evaluation is complete.

Which documents can FundLens read?
Any fund document: fund contracts, prospectuses, key information documents, annual and semi-annual reports, valuation reports and other regulatory documents, in digital or scanned PDF format.
Does FundLens work for real estate funds?
Yes. Real estate funds have their own documents and indicators, such as property lists, market values, rental income or debt financing ratios. FundLens covers both securities and real estate funds under Swiss law.
What does chatting with a document mean?
You ask a question in plain language, for example about exit fees, and FundLens answers by citing the exact passages it relies on. If the document does not contain the answer, it says so rather than guessing.
Which output formats are available?
All common formats: Excel, CSV and JSON, an API for easy integration into your systems, and a chat interface to question your documents.
What does “adaptable technology” mean?
FundLens is built as a platform. The same core can be adapted to new document types, new workflows and new products.
Security and data
Are our documents used for anything else?
No. Your documents are processed for your use only.
Where is our data processed?
Data location matters to Swiss institutions, and it is a design requirement for us. Our hosting and processing set-up will be documented in detail for early users.
